What is considered real whole food?

Foods that are as close to what you would find in nature. Any and all vegetables are fair game. Fruit may be limited to one serving per day depending on your needs. Protein sources include beef, poultry, pork, fish, lamb and wild game. You will also be encouraged to eat lots of healthy fats! This includes butter (grass-fed), coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, and ghee.

This program is designed to help you understand the power of real whole food! Through education and daily communication, you will experience your own journey unique to your body's needs. Along with learning how to properly fuel yourself, you will become more in tune with your body by focusing on how you feel and noticing any reactions, good or bad. You will see that revolving your diet around real whole foods is going to combat common symptoms such as:

I would like to welcome you to the Way of Life Reset! I will be your nutritional guide during this program and I am excited for you to experience the power of real food and for you to feel your best!

I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), Restorative Wellness Practioner (RWP), AIP Certified Coach, and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I am on a mission to empower and support families to a healthy way of life by nourishing the body with real whole foods!

What will I have to avoid?
Caffeine, alcohol, dairy, gluten, corn, soy, sugar, hydrogenated oils, preservatives, and other food additives.
I have participated in the Way of Life Reset before, can I participate again?
Absolutely and you should! Participating again will help you build off of last years experience and you will find there has been new material added.
What happens after the 21 days?
Upon completion, you will have the option to take things a step further with the Reintroduction Program. The 21-day program has provided you with a blank slate allowing you to listen to your body for any cues or symptoms that suggest you might be sensitive to certain foods. The Reintroduction Plan provides you with clear instructions on how to individually add back the foods you have been avoiding. You will have the information you need to interpret your findings and incorporate foods back into your regular diet.

I was inspired to participate in the Way of Life Reset to help manage my IBS and unwanted weight gain. Annie worked with me to modify the recipes to fit my Low-FODMAP diet. I realized how much food additives were affecting how my stomach and bowels felt. I was the only one in my house following her diet, so I tended to have a lot of food left over. All froze well to enjoy later. I lost about 3 pounds per week while doing the Reset. There are several recipes I continue to use.
